Arwah Che Azlan Hamid

Salam to all.

Exactly on the 7th day of Syawal, Allah called Che Azlan to meet Him.

My dearest Ayah Lae, the one who always has a smile on his face. Seriously, I've never ever seen him got mad. And he is undeniably a very generous person.

The news of his death was really a shock.

At about 5 am of 26th September, I woke up, performed the Isya' prayers because I was too tired the night before. Just as I finised my prayers, my phone rang. And it was Suja.

Suja calling me at 5 am in the morning?! This must be a bad news...

And indeed it was. "Nani, ayah lae dah takde.."

"Haah?!"

And suddenly, Tok Ayah came to my mind. Tok Ayah passed away 10 days after the Raya of 2005, just to let you know.

The original plan on that day was to go to Subang Jaya because we have to send Kak Nur to KLIA on Sunday (and because I have the tournament). But at about 7.00 ++ am, we headed for Kelantan instead.

We stopped at Batu Melintang (10.30 ++am if I'm not mistaken) so that Daddy and all of us can have proper breakfast. And then the journey continued. From 12.00pm onwards, Ayah Dee kelantan, Ayah Dee penang and Suja kept calling us, asking where we were at the moment. Pressure built up. Ayah Lae was about to be honoured with the Solat Jenazah at his house already but we're still struggling to enter Kota Bharu. The traffic jam was such a bummer!

We arrived minutes after Ayah Lae was taken to Masjid Langgar. At Ayah Lae's house, Che Ni appeared calm but I can see the sadness in her eyes. One thing I couldn't stand was Hussin and Hassan. I've never seen them like this. They're no longer crying but the redness in their eyes was enough to tell the story.

I don't know how mum would have felt. She couldn't even say a proper goodbye to her dear brother. All I saw was her red eyes and red nose.

This is from Suja's point of view.

Tok We said "aku ingak mu nak jaga aku azlae...tapi mu gi dulu....".

May Ayah Lae be among the Solihin and may Allah give physical and mental strength to Che Ni and family, Tok We and all of those dear to Ayah Lae.

Al-fatihah.
Thank you.

Whatdyouknow?

Salam to all.

Somehow, I found
this.

What's that, you asked? Well, I am one of the person who posted something on that forum, particularly that page. (See if you can guess which one is me, haha!)

God, SPM seems like so far away. Like a history that is sooo erm, history....

*Deep breath*

Oh, can a 12 become an 18 in just a month?
Please somebody answer that. T_T

By the way, I personally think that Jesse McCartney's songs are getting more and more mengarut. All time favourite: Just so you know. <--T.T Dedicated to ... =). Haih, macam la dia tahu...
And Miley, please, don't you know that children look up to you?

Sabtu dan Ahad.

Salam to all.

Ok. I'm so like freakin' scared. This can go wrong. That can go wrong. Hoooooohhhhhhhh...

MAPCU 2009 Taekwondo Tournament.

Oh. Ya Allah please let whatever happens be the best thing that could ever happen. Innaka Anta Al-alimun Hakim. Rabbana yassirna wala tuassirna ya Karim. Allahumma Sallim Sallim.

We can just plan. Only You can make it happen.

This year's a bit crazee. Maybe because I'm Taylor's coordinator.

Hoping for the best!

No pictures attached. Yet.

Salam to all.

Alhamdulillah, raya was great!

Friday night - Started our journey to the land of Cik Siti Wan Kembang after the Friday prayers. Weather was fine, not too hot, not too cold. Stopped at Belum Resort ( a nice new hotel located at Pulau Banding. Seriously a nice place to relax and unwind. I'm promoting Cuti Cuti Malaysia!) to break our fast. Found out that we're the only family there to feast on the ramadhan buffet (kinda cheap compared to hotels in the cities. Just a lil bit above RM30 for adults.. FYI, the hotel near my *home sweet home* in Subang costs about double that figure.) And then came this mat saleh guy with his wife, I think. That guy looks like Peter Parkerrrrr..... Handsome kottttt!
Alhamdulillah, safely arrived at Tok We's place at 12.00++ Ayah dee, suja and his family were about to sleep at the living hall when we arrived. Sorry la kacau tidur.. Tapi yang kecik-kecik semua tido mati. Penat sangat kot main siang tadi. Haha.

Saturday - Ayah Mie arrived, yeah! Kinda sad because ikha couldn't be here.. sob sob... But boleh la ada lynn and sasha, haha! Wasted like 4 hours at Lucy's. What a loooooong queue. Sara and I sampai tertidur-tidur..
Buka puasa was a blast! Po lead the doa buka puasa =). Akok and onde-onde was great! And so were the ayam percik and Kari Ikan Tok We + Auntie Linda.. Played bunga api! But Ajeef *my unofficial boyfie* was scared of the bunga api and mercun.. Talking about mercun. Let me tell you a story. Since long long time ago, like three or four years back, our kampung and the kampung next to us had this 'underground bunga api & mercun war'. Most of the time they won lah, because their's gave more impact than us. Impact as in photoeffect and sonareffect *English : Their bunga api were brighter and louder* And due to lack of resources, our kampung lost, again. Oh, I didn't get the chance to listen to the pak cik announcing the official raya date this year... Miss him lah. Haha.

Sunday - Selamat Hari Raya people! Walked to Masjid Langgar with mom, Mimi, Lynn, Mama Shima and Auntie Linda and performed the Aidilfitri prayers. Tok We tak larat nak ikut tahun ni. If I'm not mistaken, Tok Ime Mudo lead the prayers. (Mummy cakap dia handsome tapi tak pernah usha la pulak =p) Went to Tok Ayah and Nenek's grave and offered Al-Fatihah. Met Suja on our way back and took a ride home on the Kancil (padahal rumah dekat je kot!) Feasted on Nasi Dagang, sate, rotibulatbulat, etc..etc.. And of course, the kuih raya! Borrowed Auntie Linda's tudung because I couldn't find time to shop for raya (Trial punya pasallahh!). Took pictures, collected duit raya $$$. and ate some more. Ayah Le & family, Che Ma & family and Kak Nana & family came too. Later that day, went to Ayah Le's and Tok Mama's. Ate Tok Mama's homemade 'serunding ikat' and Batang Nestum (I made up the name of the kuih.. I don't know the real name.. ). Played batu seremban at the porch and that's when I found out that Ajeef's afraid of kambing. Adeyh Ajeef ni.. haha.. Harini je kot dia takut kambing... At Ayah Le's house, Che Ni's special treat was lasagna and lontong. Of coursela I ate some more, siap tambah lagi lontong tu.. Sedappppppp.... Oh, thanks to Suja for her lovely broadband..... Sayang Suja Muah Muah! <--cubaan untuk dapat duit raya lebih tahun depan.

Monday - A bit relaxed today. Oh wait, today's special treat was Tok We's Nasi Briyani special... Hebat! And so, makan-makan lagiiiii.. What to do? Raya what? Haha. Alhamdulillah, rezeki banyak tahun ni.. =) Lepak-ed at home most of the time. Mimi and Sasha studied ohhhhh.. Well, they should actually.. PMR's just around the corner.. *Senang hati je cakap kat orang.. Diri sendiri tu Final lagi sebulannnn* But that didn't stop them to make a sitcom, but I think it's not as funny as last year's. Lynn and I opened our books too. But well, Lynn was more successful, I must say.. That night, we *the girls* with the help of Kak Nana went to KB Mall to shop la konon... We went there kinda late and so the shops were in the process of shutting down.. Sedih la jugak. But I still managed to buy a sweater (50% off!).. =) Kak Nana was really nice to have brought us jalan-jalan around the city and from what I can see, she can be a good tour guide too! Kota Bharu has changed she said, now most of the roads have been transformed to One-Way roads. KB was showered with lights that night and it was really beautiful! =)

I'll continue next time...
Signing off at 1.10 am.

I'm thirsty!

Salam to all.

Yeah. Get me a glass of water please?

Oh. Wait. Still in the holy month of Ramadhan.. =)

Thirsty. Water. That's the first word that we'll think of.

But what if we put it this way.

Thirsty. Knowledge. Dahaga. Ilmu.

Alhamdulillah, the final 3-hour paper was over. Maths for God's sake. Crazee as usual lah kan.
But towards the end, I kinda figured out the solutions to some questions that I find very hard at the beginning. Syukur. Idea was like suddenly appeared. Yeah!

I finally feel like I can read things other than textbooks. Novels, magazines and everything in between. For fun. =) But don't expect me to know a lot about the latest novels or perhaps the famous ones. Latest news or whatever. I just read what I wanna read. Usually what's within reach.

I've attended a dialogue by Professor Horvitz sometime in March. He's doing research about Apoptosis or programmed cell death. Something biology-related right? But do you know that he majored in Mathematics and Economics at MIT?

Our very own Dr. Adnan Omar. He holds a PhD in Psychology. Do you know that he was a chemical engineer before?

I went through the author's profile of one of the ADP's Biology textbook. He had a PhD in a biology-related field and also a degree in Arts (History or something I can't remember).

And here I am, just doing a pre-U program and complain a lot about the hardwork.

My life will truly begin once I graduated with a medical degree. Seriously.

Okay, to be honest, this post is kinda serabut. Actually, I have a lot to write but I kinda have to rush. My flight to Penang is in 4 hours time! =) Yeayyyyy!

Merdeka. Oh belum lagi.

Salam to all.

Esok ada Math. And my dad's gonna be mad if he knows what I'm doing right now.

Adeh. What to do? Somebody's gotta do it. And that unfortunate someone is me.

Antara Amanah dan Amanah.

Arghhhh!

Ya Allah, permudahkanlah urusan ku di dunia dan di akhirat. Amiin.

No idea for title.

Salam to all.

Chemistry done.
Comment: The three hours was like err.. 10 mins?. I can't actually feel the time flying. And there you know it, 2 hours 55 mins gone when the invigilator said '5 minutes left'.
The paper was hard at the beginning. The reading time was basically used to think about the essay questions. I'm actually quite relieved when I saw them as I was expecting something much much worse. Hopefully it will turn out to be good if not excellent, =p.

The calculations part for the titration thingy was suppose to be my favourite. It did but then something went wrong and I finally end up not finishing it. I tried applying my technique of 'just ignore the looong loong explaination.. the questions will guide me..' but it proved not to work this time.

Physix next. English later.

Yeay.
Everyday's a lil bit closer to raya.
Joy?
Definitely.

Oh, I want to congratulate anyone who gets the offer for Adelaide's oral assessment.
Hebat giler! PQA was so heavenly hard.

Ok ok I should stop now. Biophysix still have a lot to cover.
But I somehow lack the enthusiasm to read now. I feel like, aaaaaarghhhh, just give me the paper and get this thing over with.

Well, well, what do you know.
Time will fly way way faster this week.

Currently enjoying : Miss Independent.
Joy lah sangat. Haha.

For crapping out loud.

Salam to all.

I gave a call to my sister two nights ago. I thought it would be just like a simple hi and that's it. But to my surprise, it was well over 50 mins. If I knew it would be that long, I should have called her using my Celcom number. *Sorry mummy!*

Anyway, it seems to me that to get the latest update on what's REALLY going on at home is through my sister. Even though I called my mom every single night, and asked her of anything new, what I get would be the nice things. From that 50-minute call to Mimi, I finally knew that ada orang lompat pagar curi kasut, Naim memekak depan rumah main mercun, and she's just got some of her trial result. Well, that's understandable actually. I mean, even I didn't tell mom of some of this and some of that. I don't want to create unnecessary panic. So does mom.

As long as we mutually respect each other, that would be good enough. Mutualism, a sub-category of Symbiosis. Like the relationship between algae and fungi. Algae supplies food and oxygen through the process of photosynthesis (6CO2 + 6H2O --> C6H12O6 + 6O2) and the fungus (plural : fungi) provides a moist environment (Crierie 2002). Both organism can live side by side happily ever after.

And what makes algae and fungi attracted to each other? Gravitational force of course! Feeling doubtful? Well, the thing is every particle in the universe attracts every other particle with a force that is proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of their distance (Olesnicky & Lawrence 1999) Gravitational force doesn't just mean the Earth and the Moon, you know?

Hmmm.. I thought of living on the Moon. But then, there's no water and oxygen over there. And without oxygen, we cannot even perform combustion (C6H12 + 6O2 --> 6CO + 6H2O) let alone complete combustion (C6H12 + 9O2 --> 6CO2 + 6H2O) And we can't plant trees there because there's no bacteria to fix atmospheric nitrogen into the soil (N2--> NH3 / NH4+) (Morton, Evans & McCann 1993). No nitrogen in soil, so no nutrients for plants which equals to no food for us humans and no oxygen for our cells to undergo cellular respiration at the mitochondria. [C6H12O6 + 6O2 --> 6H20 + 6CO2 + energy] In the long run, we will die because our cells couldn't get energy in the form of ATP. The breakdown of ATP will realease energy that can be used for active transport of substances against the concentration gradient and also cell growth (Crierie 2002). This just proves how important bacteria are in our lives.

Don't you think so? Well, we may have different perception on things. It's normal. Homo sapiens produce offsprings that are not genetically identical to each other due to various factors (crossing over during Prophase 1, Independent assortment, random combination of gametes and mutations) thus, obviously the way we think would be kinda different too (Crierie 2002).

However, there are certain things in life that we all must agree. For example, the occurence of the Judgement Day. The probability for this to happen would be 1. How about the probability of you to stop reading this? Well, the outcome would be either continue or stop. So the probability would be 0.5. Out of ten people who have read until this far, what are the chances that only 9 will continue to read until the last fullstop? Hmmm.. Use your Graphing Calculator Ti84. Press 2nd, VARS, option A, ENTER. Fill the binompdf( according to n,p,X. In this case, n=10, p=0.5 and X=9 (Haese & Harris 2006).

I'm done crapping.

Tired.

Salam to all.

I feel like so tired today. Penat.

Tak nak buka buku malam ni boleh?

I just got my maths marks just now. Great? It's a total opposite.
I just paid sixty bucks just now because I was so GANAS to break the freezer doorlid.
There goes the money to buy my baju raya...

A lot of things happened. Well, really?
Otak serabut sangat. I have the taekwondo things to settle. Sheeesh.
And I'm not even practicing for the upcoming tournament. Adoih.
Trial in just a few days. Crazeelah.
I just realised that I still have a lot of things to cover in bio. Which doesn't include chemy and physix. Oh, Maths and arghhhhhh english!

I think I prefer SPM thank you very much.

Verily Man is in loss. (103:2)

Salam to all.

I saw the full moon. Beautiful. Really.

15 Ramadhan.
Oh God,
Where have I spent those time?
I think of songs more than Al-Quran,
I think of people more than Zikrullah.
My God.

Kenapa hati hitam sangat ni?
Kenapa susah nak fokus?
Lalai. Kenapa?

Ada lagi masa.
Tolong jangan jual masa itu kepada dunia.

'By (the Token of) time (through the Ages),
Verily Man is in loss,
Except such as have Faith, and do righteous deeds, and (join together) in the mutual teaching of Truth, and of Patience and Constancy'

Dearest Mimi.

Salam to all.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you, Mimi!

Luvya always!

Well, I know for sure that I'm definitely not your no. 1 sister although I am your only sister.
Sorry la for all the membebel or whatever. Hey, but sometimes, you're the one who started the fight, let's not forget that also.

Present? Tengok budget la dulu. Sekarang pokai sikit. But then, rasanya macam selalu pokai jer... Adoi, you know what? i think I have to fork out sixty bucks to pay for the freezer doorlid I ACCIDENTLY broke. Sheeshhhhhh.

So I don't know la about present. Yeah, I know I'm kinda kedekut. You're kedekut towards me also mwahahahaha!

All the best with your trial. Hopefully you'll get into MRSM because I want you to learn something from there. It changed me in a positive way and I hope it'll do the same for you.
You'll definitely enjoy it, in which depends on how you define enjoy.

Keep up with your girly girly stuff, haircare products and all, although I sincerely hope you'll make gradual positive changes~~

Sometimes I wonder why we're not like Khalida and Wahida or Lynn and Ikha. Well, maybe because we have different interests and maybe we're not sharing secrets~~ oOoPs!
FYI, sometime's I can be so stupid. Like this year for example. I'm letting it go.
Whatever la.
Tomorrow I got Matrix test and you also got your math trial.
All the best.

Soarin' Flyin' There's not a star in heaven that we can't reach

Salam to all.

Any moment everything can change
Feel the wind on your shoulder
For a minute all the world can wait
Let go of your yesterday
Can you hear it calling?
Can you feel it in your soul?
Can you trust this longing and take control?

Fly
Open up the part of you that wants to hide away
You can shine
Forget about the reasons why you can't in life
And start to try
Cause it's your time
Time to fly

And when you're down and feel alone,
Just want to run away
Trust yourself and don't give up
You know you're better than anyone else

In a moment
Everything can change.

I love this song. It always give me the strength to bounce after an ugly fall.
I hope it'll do the same to all of you!

Adidas and The Nike.

Salam to all.

Just finished the Auckland's writing test. I was a few minutes late but luckily the grammar test hadn't started yet.

So grammar test 60 questions in 30 mins.
One-page essay test in 20 mins. The question was 'describe a period of change in your life and how it had affected you personally'.

Done.
Done.

I am not sure how I'm feeling right now. Relieved, yes. Worried? Hmm.. Yeah.

I'm just a normal human being. I tried, but I wasn't sure if that's good enough. I planned, but definitely He knows better.

Is TER 99 achievable? With my poor internal marks?

Dalia told me what Sen had told her.

"Are we denying the fact that Allah IS CAPABLE of making us get TER 99?"

No.
