Whats up with all those formulaaa. Penat la. Penat tau buat add math. Lagi penat dari lari 1km. Penat hati. Penat otak. Penatttttttttttttt......

Give me questions yang logical thinking baru best. The ones yang tak dak kaitan langsung ngan segala formula mak nenek tu. Haih.. Yang ada decimals ni pun lagi satu. Atau yang ada 'to the power of something something'... Haaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh..

Nak guna formula la, first derivative la, apa2 lagi laaaaaaa....

1. Sunday, 25th Jan. Bought a book called The Kite Runner. Why? Because that book is an international best-seller and I want to know why. Initially I thought of buying John Grisham's The Client (in which I've forced myself to finish reading it sometime during form 2) because I love the bravery shown by the boy, Mark if I'm not mistaken. But, there's only one The Client left and the condition is not worth the RM 35++. So, next time maybe. (Wait a minute, I think I have the pdf format of those two books... Hurm..)
2. Bought Border's bag for RM 3 after I paid for the book and given a plastic bag. Haha. So much for going green...
3. Monday. Jogging at Botanical Garden. Situation: sangat lenggang and Malays seem to dominate the path which is so unlikely in any other days. Why ah? Duhhhh... It's Chinese New Year remember?
4. Witnessed the partial solar eclipse on Monday 26th January sometime at 4pm.
5. The dinner at Pak Long's new house was YUMMY! My favourite: The curry mee and the small, sweet oranges.
6. Tuesday 27th Jan. Attended abang Norman's wedding. (He's like a double senior to me. He's my senior at Seri Permai and again at Langkawi.. He's my father's cousin by the way.. So... does that make him my uncle?) His wife is pretty!
7. Dinner at Kapitan QB. It was seriously full of people which is the total opposite of the scene last Monday morning. Oh God, there's this nice-looking guy sitting in front of me and he's like sooooooo my kind of boyfriend-material...
8. Wahida's family spent a night here in Penang!
9. Wednesday. I finally started on the first paragraph of my Bio essay.

Physics- Atomic Computer. (Seriously, I've never heard about it before.. But I'm ready to gobble something new!)

Chemistry- Hydrogen - oxygen fuel cell.. (I wanted this topic and I'm SOOOO grateful that Mr. Yap assigned me this!)

English - Should consumers pay for using non-biodegradable plastic bags? (What do you think of this topic? Should i go for it? I still haven't decide on a topic...)

I don't know how this post will end but I guess I know how to start it..

I've been to the Penang GH and all the young doctors I had the chance to speak to said the same thing,

• You don't know what you're getting yourself into..
  
• If I know a doctor's life would be like this, I would never had chosen this path..
  
• You still have the time to change your career.. It's too late for us already...

conclusion: jangan jadi doktor.

But if you ask a surgeon, or perhaps a more matured doctor, he or she might have answered otherwise..

My highest aim at the moment is to become a neurosurgeon and let's say that I can achieve that (InsyaAllah) at most (or does 'at least' be more appropriate?) by the age of 45. (God?! Is this for real?? I can't believe I'm typing this number myself.. I feel sooo.. aged...)

So, 45-18 = 27

All my years of living (and enduring the pain of striving through schools..)is just 33.33% of my whole journey. That percentage is not even close to half!

What I'm trying to convince myself is that, in my quest to build my own KLCC, I'm still in the dusty, dirty, sweaty, busy, messy construction phase like these..

Of course it will be

sometimes out of control, hard, demanding, difficult, laborious, burdensome, oppressive, unyielding, harsh, bitter, exhausting, ruthless, rough, and all words related to them. (okay, so I cheated. I used the thesaurus..)

This year ain't gonna make my life easier. More work needs to be done, more focus, more play, again, the HARD work, the prayers and of course.. More trust in Allah along the way.

I learnt that I HAVE TO MAKE MYSELF DESERVE SUCCESS through endless cycle of physical, mental and spiritual means in order to reach it.

There's no other way to it.

No detour, no shortcut, no Doraemon's Pintu Suka Hati whatsoever.

I learnt that even if things doesn't turn out to be what we hoped it would, there will be a reward of some kind. Allah is not heartless to leave His exhausted servant, tired of working full throttle to search for His grace, unattended, would He?

InsyaAllah, it will turn out to be this someday..
