Heal The World. Make It A Better Place.

Salam to all.

A post dedicated to Allahyarham Mikael Jackson. Innalillah wa inna ilaihi rajiun.

Dalia bursted out of her room and said,'Wany, Michael Jackson dah meninggal.'
It took quite a few seconds for me to absorb that shocking info.

And in my heart, I felt so jealous of him.

Because he had just converted to Islam, and was pure, clean of sins.
Like a newborn baby.
And Allah had invited him to see Him.

Me?
Alhamdulillah, a Muslimah from my first day of life.
Islam warisan, some people called.
But..
Am I really a Muslimah?
Do I behave like one?
Do I practice Islam as a whole?
Do I really put Allah in front of everything I do?
I always forget to ask myself that.

I still remember that 1993 video tape of Michael Jackson's songs. My mom used to play it for me. And my favourite?

A huge stadium with a lot of people in it. Children of all ages holding hands. Everybody sings. Michael Jackson in the middle, white clothes. A GIANT baloon was inflated in the middle of the stadium, the baloon is Earth.

After 14 years, I still remember that video clip.

It was Heal The World.

Enjoy this as much as I used to and still am.

Don't forget to understand its lyrics. So touching.

May Allah bless him.

In the car.

'Knapa nak dengar radio lalat ni?'
'Mana ada lalat.. nama dia Fly~'
'A'ah, Fly best tapi America's Top 40 macam tak best sangat'
'Yang depan-depan memang la tak best...'

And my dad switched to Mix or Lite.
I miss the weekend 'pusing-pusing' around Penang at night.

And the dinner at the same gerai under the open sky, with me ordering the same menu (mee goreng, papaddom, milo ais) haha. And talking-talking to Mimi, hearing my mom and dad discuss about their work, with Naim the loner 'berlagak cool'. Haha..

That's my lil bro, he's only a primary school punya budak but his haircare products are A LOT. Gels, wax, creams and god knows what else. He and my sister are into those haircare stuff for unknown reason...Thank god my mom doesn't allow him perfumes or stuff, huh, I wonder how crowded the table would be. And when he talks, he always try to sound 'macho'.. hahaha! Children are growing up so fast these days, haih~ *hint hint* Don't forget next Thursday! hahaha.. promote pulak..

Anyway, why do people want to grow up? I mean, I dont~
For the past few days, we discussed about 'childhood and growing up' during English and Ms. Ting brought back the memories of my old days (like I'm that old~ haha).

What are the things that I can remember about my childhood? Hmm.. lets see..
Toys: Telephone, car (like the one you see on my profile picture), yellow tent, LEGO, masak-masak things, and oh how can I forget it, Baby Kuning! haha.

Baby Kuning used to be my favourite doll. Of course la it's yellow in colour. My mom said I used to bring it everywhere with me. And there's one incident where I left my Baby Kuning at a hotel and my mom and dad had to go back and look for it... Alhamdulillah, the hotel people didn't throw it yet.. And my mom mentioned that Abang Faizur was a 'Baby Kuning hunter' for he always had to look for my Baby Kuning.. Haha.. thanks everyone!

What else? Oh!

7 years old.
A girl that age should to be innocent right?
Not for me.
I did a LOT of things when I was 7.

Tipu markah exam.
Alkisahnya:
I got 98 for my BM. And I think I want 100 so badly la. So I erased the 'X' mark and put a tick. And my mom checked. She asked why I didn't get 100? And I said, 'cikgu cakap sebab kakak colour gambar-gambar tu. Sebab tu cikgu tolak markah'.

Boikot kawan.
Mid year exam. I got No. 5 and one of my friend got No. 1. And I said to my other classmates, 'Jangan kawan dengan dia.. jangan kawan dengan dia..' referring to my friend that got No.1 la. Nothing? Well, the thing is, that girl transferred to another school that same year.

Curi duit tabung.
Yes, my mom gave me pocket money but I still took some from my own tabung. That tabung shouldn't be touched, actually. But it's my tabung, ok? Maybe this is not so bad~

There's still some minor-minor stuff I did that's not worth putting here..
Moving on to standard 2, I became better la. No more of those cheating stuff and I accept failure better, meaning no more boycotting people.. haha. Since I was appointed as pengawas, I need to be nice..

I am more matured now, don't worry... haha.

Conclusion: I don't want to grow up. Fullstop.Noktah.Period.Dot.

P/s: Before this, I read 'Stranger in the mirror' by Sidney Sheldon but after reading like the first 80 pages, I couldn't see where the story is going. In harsher word, boring. Not so good an impression for a novelist like Sidney Sheldon... So I stopped and started 'If Tomorrow Comes'. And yes, this is what I expect from him.
